Development of the needle free injection technology by INJEX founders: Needle free Injection early development: The Story started in the Year 1998 in California, the engineer Stewart Parson developed a needle free device in the late 90ies. Stewart showed the prototype of an injection without a needle to an investor, Jim Fukushima, who became enthusiastic and the first investor in Project INJEX. Jim eventually transferred the project to Berlin, Germany, to the newly founded INJEX Pharma GmbH in 2006 for the industrialization of the project to a marketable product line.
The equipment for manufacturing was acquired and the respective clinical trials to achieve the respective registrations, CE and FDA were accomplished. In 2012, INJEX Pharma GmbH was ready to launch the INJEX 30 System into the market. The INJEX30 (30 stands for 0,3 ml) needle free injection system was available for numerous medical applications.
